Main Scripture

Romans 13:1

“Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.”

Devotional

Your principal and school administrators carry a heavy responsibility. They make decisions that affect hundreds—even thousands—of students and families. Their role is often stressful, and many times it goes unnoticed or unappreciated.

But God has placed them in leadership for a reason. When students choose to pray for, honor, and serve their school leaders, something shifts. It creates an atmosphere of respect, peace, and openness.

Living unashamed is not just about speaking your faith—it’s about showing the heart of Christ. And Jesus honored, served, and lifted others. Today, you get to do the same.

Action Steps

  • Pray for your principal, assistant principals, and admin staff
  • Write a short note letting them know you’re praying for them
  • Visit the office and ask how you can pray for them
  • Bring a small gift if appropriate
  • Look for a practical way to serve them
  • If you’ve had conflict with a school leader, choose humility and make things right if needed

Social Challenge

Post something encouraging about your school leadership. Let your words bring honor.

Faith in Action

One group of students made it a habit to pray weekly for their principal. They also wrote notes of encouragement regularly. Over time, their relationship with school leadership opened doors: prayer gatherings, student-led faith initiatives, and service opportunities. God often opens spiritual doors through humility.
