Main Scripture

Joshua 6:2

“The Lord said to Joshua, ‘See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands…’”

Devotional

Before the walls of Jericho fell, God gave Joshua a strategy that didn’t make sense: walk, pray, trust. No visible results at first. Just obedience.

Sometimes God asks us to step out in faith before we see anything change. Your campus may feel like it has walls: spiritual resistance, brokenness, pressure, and fear.

But those walls are not stronger than God. Today is about walking in faith and trusting that God is working—even when you can’t see it yet.

Action Steps

  • Walk through your school before, during, or after school if appropriate
  • Pray quietly for what you see
  • Pray over classrooms, hallways, and gathering areas
  • Invite 1–3 friends if possible
  • Pray for students by name, teachers and staff, peace and protection, and hearts to be open to Jesus

Social Challenge

Encourage others to pray for your school: “Walking my campus and praying today. God is moving.”

Faith in Action

The walls of Jericho didn’t fall on the first lap. Or the second. Or the third. But every step mattered. Every prayer mattered. In the same way, your obedience today is part of something bigger than what you can see. God is working—even when it feels quiet.

Prayer

Lord, help me to walk in faith today. Even when I don’t see immediate results, help me trust that You are working. Move in my school in ways only You can. Break down walls of fear, darkness, and resistance. Let Your presence be known on this campus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Journal Prompt
