Main Scripture

Galatians 6:1–2

“Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently…”

Devotional

Not everyone who is far from God has always been far. Some people once believed. Some once cared. Some once walked closely with Him. But somewhere along the way… they drifted.

Life happened. Pain happened. Disappointment happened. And now they’re distant.

Today is about those people. The ones who may look fine on the outside—but are spiritually missing in action. God doesn’t forget them. And neither should we. Restoration doesn’t begin with pressure. It begins with love.

Action Steps

  • Ask God who you know that has drifted from their faith
  • Reach out by sending a message, starting a conversation, or simply sitting with them
  • Keep it simple: “Hey, I’ve been thinking about you.” or “Miss you. How are you doing?”
  • Listen more than you talk
  • If the moment is right, invite them to FCA or church or offer to pray with them

Social Challenge

Instead of posting publicly, reach out privately to one person today.

Faith in Action

Jesus often went after the one. Not the crowd. Not the comfortable. The one who wandered. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do isn’t reaching someone new—it’s helping someone come back. God uses simple acts of care to begin restoration.

Scripture Reading

Prayer

Lord, show me who needs to come back. Give me compassion, patience, and wisdom as I reach out. Help me to love without judgment and to reflect Your heart. Use me to be part of someone’s restoration. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Journal Prompt

  • Who did God put on my heart today?
  • What step did I take to reach out?
  • How did it feel to respond in compassion instead of pressure?

Quote

“People don’t drift back to God because they’re pushed—they come back because they’re loved.”
