Main Scripture

Hebrews 10:25

“Let us not neglect meeting together… but encourage one another…”

Devotional

Sometimes the most powerful step you can take is simply an invitation. You don’t have to preach. You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to open the door.

Many people are more open than we think—they’re just waiting for someone to ask.

An invitation says: “You matter.” “I want you to come with me.” “You’re not alone.” God often uses simple moments like this to begin something life-changing.

Action Steps

  • Ask God who you can invite
  • Think about a friend, teammate, someone you’ve been praying for, or someone who is searching
  • Invite them to FCA, church, youth group, or a Christian event
  • Keep it simple and relational
  • Offer a ride, meet them there, sit with them, and follow up

Social Challenge

Post something like: “Inviting someone to church this week—who’s with me?”

Faith in Action

Someone once said yes to an invitation—and it changed everything. They walked into a place where they felt seen, heard, and welcomed. They encountered God. And their life was never the same. That moment started with one simple step: someone invited them.

Lord, show me who to invite. Give me boldness to ask and wisdom to approach them in love. Prepare their heart ahead of time, and remove any obstacles that would hold them back. Use this invitation to draw them closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
