Main Scripture

Romans 12:13

“Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”

Devotional

The place where you spend the most time is your home. Even if life there feels normal—or even chaotic—God cares deeply about what happens inside those walls.

Today is about inviting Him into every part of your home. Just as Joshua declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord,” you are choosing to dedicate your space to God.

This is not about being perfect. It’s about making your home a place where peace lives, forgiveness flows, and God is welcome.

Action Steps

  • Walk through your home room by room
  • Ask God to fill each space with His presence
  • Pray for peace, unity, and protection
  • If there are places where conflict happens, pray for healing and forgiveness there
  • Pray for each person in your home
  • If possible, invite others to pray with you
  • Walk the perimeter of your home and dedicate it fully to God

Social Challenge

Post Romans 12:13 in a creative way as a reflection of your heart for your home.

Faith in Action

When the spiritual atmosphere of a home changes, everything connected to it begins to shift. Peace replaces tension. Hope replaces heaviness. God works in places where He is invited. Even simple prayers can change the direction of a family.

Prayer

Lord, today I dedicate my home to You. Fill every room with Your presence, peace, and love. Heal any places of conflict or division, and restore what has been broken. Let this home be a place where people experience Your goodness and truth. May everything that happens here bring glory to You. Amen.

Journal Prompt

  • Is there anything in my home that does not honor God?
  • What did I feel or notice as I prayed through each room?
  • What would it look like for my home to fully belong to God?
